It has been a long and bumpy road, but I can proudly announce the opening of the base for serenity in nature in the heart of Curacao.
The Dragonfly Lodge
I am fulfilling herewith a long term dream to create & facilitate a place to rest, heal and replenish your soul.
A place to find peace and serenity in the beautiful nature of Curaҫao. Since the time of discovery of the continent, Curaҫao was the place to heal and recover. Portuguese sailors who were ill mannered were left on the island to recover as they were not fit enough to continue the journey. On their way back the ships returned to find their crew member recovered and healed enabling them to travel back on the long haul to Europe. The Lodge is situated at the back of the premises on the edge of pure nature and peace.

Twice a month Finca PuRa ViDa will be organizing a ' Marche Artesenal' were local artists will display their creations. We hope to bring more popularity to the local artists in Bandabou. Keep an eye out to fixed dates.

with a West-Indian & Latin fusion menu. As the name already suggests from pure organically grown ingredients additionally herbal teas and batidos (smoothies & juices) & Gelato Artesenal.

Herbal Tea's & Coffee's
As you know I followed an on-site Herbal Medicine course in Costa Rica where I gathered and extended my knowledge on the subject. It is a way of life by many Indigenous groups around the globe who still live by it and keep the practice alive...as much as possible. In this day and age of AI the NI (natural intelligence) is not growing in the speed as needed. It's a dying treasure of knowledge. I hope to make it as accessible as the common drinks we know.
Soul Food
Just as important as the natural intake of Tea's and Shakes is....Is the food we like to feed our souls with. I have worked (and cooked) out a menu which makes it a true Fusion of the Indian and Latin cuisine at Café PuRa ViDa. Come and check it out on your way to Lagun beach.
